Review: Milk and Honey

Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur My rating: 5 of 5 stars "you must want to spend the rest of your life with yourself first." HAPPY POETRY MONTH! Honestly, I didn't know April was world poetry month until I saw posters all over the place at my college. I decided to follow the trend and buy this book and I was not disappointed at all. I will read the book every time I feel down or when i'm hurting or when I need healing. So many quotes were close to my heart I wanted to sticky note every single page so I could find the quote later. Props to Rupi for pouring her soul out onto paper for people to know they're not alone. View all my reviews

February & March Haul/Update

The last few months have been a bit boring. I haven't read anything expect for one book I had to for a college class. (Which, I still have the last chapter left). I didn't buy any books in March but I did add the books I bought in January to the list that I got in February. I'm also trying out a new theme and I'm liking it at the moment! Gets my in the mood for Spring and Summer! Speaking of Spring, it's been Spring for a week already and we already had a snowstorm, bunch of rain and ice. Gotta love this New York weather! Below I separated where I got the books and what ones are completely new to me. "New to me" meaning I never had the book/read the book. I also won a giveaway! I included the box set below as well. Basically the books I got from Abebooks.com I already owned them but I had them in either hardback or softback and the others in the series are opposites. Which annoys me! Last thing, I received 3 bookish candles for my birthday that I ma...

Review: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay by J.K. Rowling My rating: 5 of 5 stars Where do I start? I still haven't seen the movie so I HAD to pick up the screenplay. As a Hufflepuff(Although Pottermore thinks i'm a Gryffindor{Is that a sign because I took the quiz twice and got the same thing,}) , I'm extremely proud & happy that Newt was the main character. I'm so happy that kids growing up now and just getting into the wizarding world will grow up knowing its okay to be different and it's okay to be a Hufflepuff, that it's okay to have patience, be loyal and what not. Other than Newt, Queenie is also my favourite character. I just love the way she is towards Jacob! Also, Credence, my baby. I'm so excited to see where these movies go. I'm loving the screenplays. Time to read Cursed Child(Still have oops) View all my reviews

Review: Alien Busters: Alien Hunting

Alien Busters: Alien Hunting by Safa Shaqsy My rating: 4 of 5 stars So im finally able to review this. I haven't had time but I do now! I usually don't read alien/science type books so this was a huge change for me. I loved it, actually and I really want to read more about Aliens and what not. Other than a few grammar/spelling issues the book was good. It was a short simpleish read, and I usually don't read ebooks also. You guys should defiantly check this book out if you enjoy aliens or you want something new. View all my reviews
